The Raven Scholar is a phenomenal book one, and I would recommend anyone interested in fantasy give it a try without getting spoiled by any reviews.

It's not groundbreaking, but not terrible either - maybe a bit of a summer vacation read.

If you can lose yourself in the picture painted for you by M. L. Wang, the story unfolds in such interesting and beautiful ways that I can't help but recommend this book.
